1st KABAGIS

(Kabalikat ng Bayan Ginhawang Sangkatauhan)

Background

The accelerating growth of factionalism and disunity among the Filipino people seems to be dominating the present situation, badly affecting the interest of peace-loving citizenry. Due to the aggravating economic situation as being ignited by the problem of politics, election fraud, job injustice, murders, drugs and others, it is timely to formulate an organization to promote unity among Filipinos. This is the main objective of the 1st KABAGIS, as based on the prayer of the Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:21-22.

Inspite of grim circumstances, there are enthusiastic individuals/groups who have not surrendered their hopes and strive to the fullest not only to attain personal progress, but also to contribute significantly to the development of our nation.

It is therefore a privilege and responsibility to defend, serve and protect the rights and properties of those few but important groups, enhancing them to continue with their effort. Widening the segments of economic development leads to our country’s ultimate goal of progress. Considering the fact that we have differing cultures in every region, we need to be united as one to achieve our goal. As many say, “If there is unity, there is strength!”

The 1st KABAGIS is headed by Roman M. Wanasen, a civil engineer by profession. He is proven of his works and services for the public from a young age, but experienced in leadership and management when he was still in the Army. He is supported by active and retired military officers, businessman and various organizations.

The 1st KABAGIS conducts a regularly religious lecture to infuse moral and social values. As we believe that a man who fears and loves the Lord behaves better than one who doesn’t.

The 1st KABAGIS runs on the enthusiasm and dignity of young men who are educated and experienced in coping up with the existing situations in our country today.

The 1st KABAGIS believes in and relies on the ultimate power and guidance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for He knows best! Amen.

A Message of Inspiration

Roman WanasenBrothers and Sisters,

Our country was marked by turmoil, envy, disagreement, bickering and division. Being a leader, I still have the reason to be thankful and happy despite of these problems, because the Filipino people are still strong and intact and we’re truly fighters and survivors. This is the beauty of being a Filipino who have the attitude of never giving up! Filipinos are true revolutionary, patriotic, preserving, dedicated and valor. However the road to success is not smooth but rugged and full of obstacles and along the way we will encounter a number of insurmountable challenges and sometimes we become weak and almost quit. With the help of our Almighty God and support of one another, we can turn indolence to a jumping board for a better hope, opportunity, achievement and progress.

It has been said that a young dream dreams and the old see vision, let us dream that our country will be healed and restored; and our vision is eventually successful in this arena of life. How I wish that our dreams and visions come into reality, it is not for our own glory but for God’s glory who is the creator, to Him belong honor and praise forever and ever.

So, then my dear kababayan/kakabagis, let us all together girdle ourselves with patience and integrity; work hand in hand for what we would make ourselves to be would be reflection of the country which we represent.

Mabuhay ang Bayang Pilipinas!

Signed, Roman M. Wanasen
